We also welcome those who would like to help in the preparation aspects of the liturgical celebrations:

Faith Formation

The parish priest and the Liturgy Committee come together to plan activities that support faith formation of parishioners who are seeking “something more”. On offer are:

Advent Reflection Sessions

Lent Discussion Groups

Men’s & Women’s Breakfasts

Wednesday Prayer Group

Talks by Guest Speakers

Outreach

With a desire to share our faith and blessings with the larger community, we have teams of volunteers for outreach:

Special Religious Education for the state schools in our area

Ministers of Communion to nearby nursing homes, the sick, and the homebound

St Vincent de Paul Society volunteers who organise special appeals and gathering breakfast items for the needy

Social Justice advocates who liaise with various institutions for appeals and for issue advocacy

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

We embrace individuals and families who have come to our church seeking to learn more about our Catholic-Christian faith. Every year, we run the RCIA program from November, throughout Advent and Lent, culminating with the receiving of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.

Youth Ministry

Through the years, this ministry has adapted to the interests of the parish youth and has offered programs that encourage team-building, formation, sport, or music.  Knowing too well that “kids grow up too quickly”, the parish youth ministry continuously tries to respond to trends and ask “what’s next” for our young people. It is our Church’s dream that today’s young people will own the Parish and lead the community to grow in faith, love and justice.

For questions regarding our ministries, please contact the parish office.
