Baptism
Children’s initiation begins with the Rite of Baptism for Children. This is often undertaken when the child is an infant, but it can be undertaken at a later stage up to the age of discernment.
The initial preparation of the parents for baptism is undertaken by our parish team. Sessions are held 4:30–5:30pm at the parish hall on the 1st Saturday of each month.
To submit your baptism application, please complete the application form and email to kenthurst@parracatholic.org (subject line: Your Child's Surname - Baptism).
We will also be offering baptism preparation for children in Year 3 onwards in February 2027 with baptism to take place on or about February 2027. Please complete the application form and email to kenthurst@parracatholic.org (subject heading: Your Child's Surname - Baptism Primary).
For further enquiries, please contact the parish office on 9654 2260 or kenthurst@parracatholic.org.
